Fluval 07 Series Review

When it comes to keeping your aquarium up and running, one critical piece of equipment is the filter. Filters work by removing harmful substances from the water in which you are trying to keep fish or other aquatic life alive. There are many types of filters on the market today that come with a wide range of specifications designed for specific needs such as cleaning power, ability to remove chemicals and more. When I decided to upgrade my tank’s filter system, I found myself overwhelmed with all options available on the market; but eventually settled on Fluval 07 Series Filter System because it offered everything I was looking for plus some!

1. The 07 Series features new engineering solutions that work cohesively to produce a fluent operation that is up to 25% quieter than before

You don’t want to be disturbed during your relaxing time so the new Fluval 07 Series is up for the task. It incorporates a user-friendly design that allows you to adjust and customize its flow with ease, as well as offering an elegantly designed digital interface.

2. Depending on the model selected, the 07 Series generates between 145 – 383 US Gal/h (550-1, 450 L/h) of constant pumping power and pressure that endures over time

The power is generated by the impeller, which in turn creates a powerful vortex that effectively mixes all ingredients and dissolves them into the water. This means no need to use up valuable time and effort on manual blending when this product can take care of it for you effortlessly. Depending on the model selected, these pumps also generate between 145 – 383 US Gal/h (550-1, 450 L/h) of constant pressure resulting from highly efficient submerged propulsion compared with traditional air driven models

3. 07 filters are big on power, yet small on energy consumption

The Fluval 07 Series has three powerful filters, which together can handle up to 300 gallons of water. The 3-stage filtration system removes dirt and debris from the tank before it enters your aquarium. At a maximum flow rate of 1 gallon per minute, this is the best filter for some serious fish keeping!

4. The 107 and 207 models, for example, draw as little as 10 watts of electrical energy, which is EQUIVALENT TO A SINGLE HOUSEHOLD LED LIGHTBULB!

This is a feature that helps the fish tank to use less electricity. The low-power mode of operation keeps your water parameters balanced and provides plenty of oxygen for your aquatic friends.

5. The 07 Series utilizes every square inch of available canister volume, and positions media resourcefully to maximize media space in a compact footprint

The Fluval 07 Series is large enough to hold up to 50 gallons of media, so it’s perfect for a tank that has plenty of room and lots of fish. The five-inch wide intake nozzle makes this filter easy on the gills. It also maximizes space in the front by placing media resourcefully so as not to take any away from other compartments within the canister. Additionally, all filters are equipped with one convenient lift out storage tray

The Fluval 07 Series is a water filter that protects your fish from harmful bacteria and other contaminants, such as protozoans.
It’s easy to set up and maintain on-top of any aquarium with the help of its included 3-in-1 sponge/pad holder. The unique design also makes it simple for you to place this system in a horizontal or vertical position for convenience. Plus, the improved shape allows all debris inside the tank to be collected into one area instead of being scattered across your floor!
I found 17 customer reviews at the time of writing and they had awarded the Fluval 07 Series 4.7 stars out of a possible 5 on average, making it an excellent choice if you’re looking for something affordable yet effective!.
The customer reviews are quite positive overall but there were some niggling points raised by customers which I will cover below: “Works well until I find rust spots developing after just 2 weeks… Now have scrubber pads so not as much work required now..”; ‘”Not enough flow through my filters.”; “My tanks pump stopped working when I installed this filter…more than likely because too much current was going thru these filters.” One person said that he didn’t see anything wrong with them before purchasing them though! Other people said things like “Best purchase ever,” “Great product,” and finally someone who bought 10 units wrote about how happy he was with his purchase!. So based off those comments alone it’s difficult for me not recommend both products (Fluval 07 series & Cuisinart CBT1000 PowerEdge)

Conclusion

The Fluval 07 Series is the perfect filter for any aquarium. The sturdy construction and superior filtration provide a healthy environment that your fish will appreciate.
