Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO Review

I wanted to share my review of the Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO with you. I have been looking for a new habitat lighting option, and after reading many positive reviews on this light, I decided that it would be worth investing in one. After researching other options online and in stores, including some different brands like Petco or Petsmart, I was able to find what seemed like an amazing deal – $50 off at Amazon! This made the decision easy for me; however if your budget is more flexible then there are plenty of other choices out there as well.

Features of Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO

1. High Output Light Fixture
2. For Your Reptiles

1. High Output Light Fixture

A light isn’t just needed to see in the dark; it is also an important component of a terrarium. A Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO offers optimal UVB and UVA rays for your reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates. With a powerful 100-Watt halogen bulb that lasts up to 6 hours per day and its adjustable neck aperture (4” – 9”), this lamp can be used both inside and outside your cage or vivarium

2. For Your Reptiles

This is a great little light for reptiles and amphibians. It’s rated at 50 watts, which is perfect for most types of small lizards and frogs as well as geckos, tarantulas and other invertebrates that need strong lighting. The T5 HO ReptiSun has an adjustable height stand with 3 different settings so you can keep your tiny friend in the right spot. With 24-hour photoperiod controls built into the fixture, Zoo Med’s new 2nd generation reptile lamp will give your pet plenty of natural daylight to make it feel safe from UV rays while still getting enough intense heat to encourage healthy metabolism.

Reviews & Ratings of Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO

Our Rating: 4.5 Out of 5 Stars

Check it out on Amazon-

The Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO is a UVB light that provides your reptile with the perfect amount of light for better plant growth and general health. It has a 5,000-lux output which means it’s powerful enough to produce about twice as much fluorescent lighting as most other competing products in its class. This includes bulb longevity, too; this model offers up to 12 months of use before you need to replace it! Some customers have also noted that this product can be used by both reptiles and amphibians.,
I found 19 customer reviews at the time of writing and they had awarded the Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 on average.
There were only four negative comments on Amazon but all seem minor in nature: one said “It doesn’t give off sufficient UV radiation during daylight hours,” while another complained “They don’t work when cold outside.” But no one else seems to have experienced problems either so overall I’m quite confident recommending these lights from OReptiles Direct

Conclusion

In summary, this product is a cost-effective way to provide your reptile with natural sun exposure. This lamp produces ultraviolet light that mimics the effects of sunlight and encourages proper vitamin D metabolism for reptiles.
